PRX features a patented formulation containing 33% TCA (trichloroacetic acid), hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid.

These ingredients work together to stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative process while limiting the aggressive surface exfoliation typically associated with higher-strength TCA treatments.

During your appointment, PRX is applied topically and carefully massaged into the treatment area using a specific application technique. Multiple applications may be performed depending on your skin and treatment goals.

There are no injections and no needles.

Once treatment is complete, the product is removed and appropriate post-treatment skincare is applied.

PRX Is Not Your Traditional Chemical Peel

When patients hear “TCA,” they often expect significant peeling and downtime.

PRX is different.

Its patented formulation combines TCA with hydrogen peroxide in a way that allows the treatment to stimulate skin revitalization without the frosting and significant desquamation associated with a traditional TCA peel.
